Latch Vector is a software engineering company led by senior technical people who still do the architecture and the coding themselves, not a layer of account managers between you and the work.

We deliver complete systems and maintain them in production: the backend, the interface, and the infrastructure beneath it. From architecture and deployment through the ongoing maintenance that follows, one team is accountable end to end, and the team grows as the work does.

Our deepest domain is the demanding side of healthcare: the systems that determine whether a durable medical equipment provider is paid. We understand what an LCD is, why a claim returns CO-50, and what fails when a resupply workflow meets a real patient record. That expertise is a specialty, not a limit: the same engineering carries over to fintech and enterprise systems, wherever data is regulated or volume is significant, including the multi-tenant identity infrastructure we build and run ourselves.

Before we touch anything, we map what exists: the billing paths, the payer edits, the parts a previous team left undocumented. You get the map, whether or not you keep working with us.

Week two, we ship something small

A real fix in production, chosen because it is low risk and visibly useful. It tells you more about working with us than any proposal would.

After that, one team, end to end

Architecture, backend, interface, infrastructure, and the maintenance that follows. No hand-offs, no account manager between you and the engineers.

We do not publish names. Our engineers hold current positions elsewhere, and we will not put them in an awkward spot to decorate a website. What we can show you is the code: our SDKs are public, our documentation is open, and you will be on a call with the person who wrote both.

The things engineers and operators actually ask us first.

Do you work inside our existing HME/DME platform, or only greenfield?

We work inside systems more often than we start them. Most of our work has been adding to and untangling billing, documentation, and revenue cycle code that was already in production with real patients in it. Greenfield is fine too, but "there is an existing codebase and it scares people" is our normal starting condition.

How do you handle PHI and HIPAA?

Access control and audit trails as a default, not a phase two. We assume every record is PHI, scope access to it, and log who touched what. We have built inside systems that carry protected health information for thousands of US practices, so this is habit rather than a checklist we discover at the end.

Can you take over a billing codebase someone else wrote?

Yes, that is most of what we do. We read unfamiliar code for a living: payer-specific edits, reason-code logic, resupply workflows, the parts a previous team left undocumented. We map it before we touch it, and you get the map.

We are not in DME. Are you still a fit?

Probably, if the data is regulated or high-volume. The domain we know cold is healthcare billing, but the engineering (multi-tenant architecture, integrations, performance, audit trails, the interface on top) travels. We also build for fintech and enterprise, and the multi-tenant identity platform we sell runs on the same foundations.

What is your stack?
